OWENSBORO, KY — Kentucky Wesleyan College is taking its basketball radio show beyond the studio and into the Owensboro community for the 2026-27 season.

The Drew Cooper Radio Show, hosted by Vic Evans and Stephen A. Turner on 94.7 WBIO, returns November 16 with a new community-focused initiative called Panther Assist: Nonprofit Spotlight.

The program will feature eight broadcasts every other Monday, beginning at 6 p.m. CT. Rather than holding the shows at Owensboro Country Club as in previous seasons, Kentucky Wesleyan will travel to locations throughout Owensboro, giving local nonprofit organizations an opportunity to host the show and share their missions and community impact with listeners.

The broadcasts will feature conversations surrounding Kentucky Wesleyan basketball while providing a platform for participating organizations to highlight their work.

The show will remain open to the general public unless otherwise announced. The November 16 broadcast at the Owensboro Humane Society will not be open to the public.
