Owensboro Skate Park Rules & Guidelines:

  • Only skateboards, inline skates, and BMX bikes are permitted.
  • This is an unsupervised facility; all users participate at their own risk.
  • The City of Owensboro is not responsible for any injuries or loss.
  • Park use is allowed only during posted hours.
  • Violators may be cited or fined.
  • Helmets, pads, and other safety gear are strongly recommended.
  • Users under 18 must have adult supervision.
  • BMX bikes must have protective coverings on all pegs.
  • Do not use the park during hazardous weather conditions such as rain, snow, or ice, as surfaces may become unsafe.
  • Stay aware of your surroundings—loose or flying skateboards are a possibility.
  • Spectators must remain off the concrete.
  • Unauthorized obstacles, ramps, or modifications to the facility are prohibited.
  • Inappropriate behavior may result in suspension, expulsion, or temporary closure of the park.
  • Special events require a permit from the City of Owensboro.
  • Be respectful, courteous, and share the park.
