OWENSBORO, KY — Daviess County and Henderson County traded goals Thursday night before settling for a 1-1 draw at Deer Park Field.

The Lady Panthers struck first when sophomore Rylee Adams scored with an assist from junior Sasha Foster.

Henderson County answered later in the match when senior Annabelle Wilson scored with an assist from sophomore Latta Johnston, bringing the Colonels level at 1-1.

Both teams had opportunities to find a second goal.

Henderson County senior Layla Gugel came close in the second half, but her attempt sailed over the goal.

Neither side could break the deadlock from there, and the match ended with the teams sharing the points.

Daviess County received two saves each from goalkeepers Kori Cecil and Delaney Maher. Henderson County also recorded two saves.

The draw moves Daviess County to 1-2-5 on the season, while Henderson County moves to 4-2-2.
