Spring is almost here, and Daviess County High School is ready to get athletes back on the field. Baseball and softball tryouts are coming up, giving students the chance to join the team and sharpen their skills for the season.

Softball
Tryouts for 7th and 8th graders in the DCHS district will be held on Monday, February 16 and Tuesday, February 17, from 6:30–7:00 PM at the softball field and hitting building. Baseball
Freshman team tryouts are scheduled for Monday, February 16, and Thursday, February 19, from 5:30–7:30 PM. Middle school students attending DCMS or CVMS who will be going to DCHS can try out on Sunday, February 22, from 2:30–4:30 PM and Monday, February 23, from 5:30–7:30 PM. Players need an updated KHSAA physical, all their baseball equipment, and clothing suitable for both indoor and outdoor activity.

Athletes are encouraged to come ready to participate fully, stay hydrated, and bring everything needed to perform at their best.
