OCC High School Basketball - Week 6 Recap

Week 6 in OCC High School Basketball brought separation at the top and a few key results that reshaped the middle of the standings.
The Jazz remained unbeaten with a dominant 90–30 win over the Lakers, improving to 6–0 on the season. Their offensive firepower continues to set the pace for the league as they sit alone in first place.
The biggest matchup of the week came between the Celtics and Bucks, with the Celtics securing a 55–50 win and handing the Bucks their first loss of the year. Both teams now sit at 5–1, creating a tight race behind the Jazz.
The Rockets improved to 4–2 with a 49–38 win over the Nets, while the Pacers edged the 76ers 39–37 in one of the week’s closest contests. The Suns were awarded a win via forfeit over the Pelicans.
After six weeks, the standings show the Jazz on top at 6–0, followed by the Bucks and Celtics at 5–1. The Rockets sit at 4–2, with the Pacers at .500 (3–3) and several teams looking to gain ground heading into Week 7.
Individually, the scoring race remains competitive. Caleb Tong of the Celtics delivered a 34-point performance this week and is averaging 24.8 points per game. Jack Martin of the Pacers continues to lead the league in total points with 147 on the season, averaging 24.5 per game. Hunter Webb (Bucks) remains steady at 20.5 PPG, while Spencer Byrne (Pacers) and Brody White (Pelicans) continue to rank among the league’s top offensive contributors.
With the season moving past its midpoint, every result becomes more important as teams position themselves for postseason play.
