OWENSBORO, KY — Owensboro Catholic remained undefeated Tuesday night, earning a 1-0 victory over Daviess County at Deer Park Elementary Field.

Allie Marston scored the Lady Aces’ lone goal, providing the difference in the shutout victory.

The win moves Owensboro Catholic to 6-0 on the season, while Daviess County falls to 2-4-5.

Catholic has continued to put together one of the area’s strongest starts, scoring 26 goals while allowing just two through six matches.

Marston and Chloe Marston have each scored six goals this season, while Anabelle Hancock and Makenna Moss have added three goals apiece.

Felicity Payne has anchored the Catholic defense in goal, allowing just two goals through six appearances and recording an .882 save percentage.

Daviess County will travel to Madisonville-North Hopkins Thursday for a 7:30 p.m. match.

Owensboro Catholic will travel to Greenwood Thursday for a 7 p.m. match.
