LEITCHFIELD, KY — Owensboro Catholic scored nine times Thursday night and kept Grayson County off the scoreboard, rolling to a 9-0 victory at Grayson County High School.

The Aces spread the scoring around, with seven different players finding the net.

Landon Condor and Frankie Fusco each scored, while Owen Brey, Luke Congleton and Lucas Bailey also found the back of the net.

Landon Danner added a goal and an assist, while Isaac Self scored once and assisted on another. Beau May and JW Kurtz each added a goal, giving Catholic nine total.

The Aces also created plenty of opportunities throughout the match, recording 26 shots and eight assists. Andrew Bailey led Catholic’s passing production with two assists, while Sam Brauer, Mason Hardesty and Jay Bailey each added an assist.

Catholic’s defense kept Grayson County scoreless, with Max Dawson recording the shutout in goal. Jace Obermeier also saw action as the Aces used 20 players in the match.

The win moves Owensboro Catholic to 8-7 on the season.

The Aces now turn their attention to the Kentucky All “A” Classic Statewide Tournament Saturday, Sept. 26, at Louisville Collegiate School Turf Field.
