The American Cornhole Organization (ACO) World Championships returned to Owensboro from July 20–25, bringing some of the best cornhole players from across the country to the Owensboro Convention Center.
As part of the Bluegrass Clash Sports Summit, the 21st ACO World Championships welcomed competitors, families, and fans from more than 25 states for a week of championship-level competition and community events.
The ACO, which has served as the official governing body of cornhole since 2005, has helped make Owensboro a destination for major cornhole events, including World Championships, Super Major events, Pro Series tournaments, and Kentucky State Championships.
Throughout the week, players competed for championship titles before celebrating their accomplishments during award ceremonies held Friday and Saturday. The event concluded with an after party celebrating another successful week of competition.
The ACO World Championships once again showcased the growth of competitive cornhole while bringing visitors from across the country to Owensboro.
