The third annual College View Middle School Color Blast brought runners, families, and volunteers together at Yellow Creek Park on Saturday, July 25, 2026, for a fun-filled evening of running and colorful memories.

Hosted by the College View Middle School cross-country team, the event provided a relaxed way for local runners of all ages to get active, have fun, and support the CVMS XC program.

Participants had the option to complete a 2K, 3K, 4K, or 5K course, with each route visiting all three color dusting stations along the way. Before the race began, runners filled the starting area with excitement by throwing color powder into the air and covering themselves in bright colors before taking off on the course.

The weather provided a great setting for the event, with cloudy skies and comfortable temperatures helping runners enjoy the evening. Volunteers along the course helped add to the experience by covering participants with colorful powder as they made their way through the stations.

Families gathered near the finish line to cheer on runners and capture photos as participants completed the course. The event also included a free photo booth experience provided by 270 Pose & Go, LLC, giving families another way to remember the evening.

With free entry for runners of all ages and a $5 parking fee per vehicle, the Color Blast continues to provide a fun community event while supporting the College View Middle School cross-country team.
