DANVILLE, KY — Kentucky Wesleyan women’s soccer fell 3-0 to Centre College Tuesday night at Amend Field, dropping the Panthers to 0-3-0 on the season.

Centre controlled much of the opening half, putting four shots on goal before Brooke Beasley converted a penalty kick in the 35th minute to give the Colonels a 1-0 lead.

Caleigh Meeks kept Kentucky Wesleyan within one at halftime, making four saves in the opening 45 minutes.

Centre extended its lead early in the second half when Zara McCarthy scored in the 51st minute off an assist from Claire Cavacini.

The Colonels added another goal in the 58th minute, with Ella Mann finding the net and Cavacini recording her second assist of the match.

Kentucky Wesleyan was limited to three shots for the match, with Haley Osborne recording the Panthers’ lone shot on goal.

Meeks finished with 10 saves, including six in the second half, as Centre finished with a 20-3 advantage in shots and a 13-1 edge in shots on goal.

Kentucky Wesleyan will return home Thursday for its 2026 home opener against Trevecca Nazarene. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT at Panther Field.
