The Sutton Derby Day 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will take place Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Sutton Elementary School, 2060 Lewis Lane, Owensboro, KY. The 5K Run/Walk starts at 8:30 AM, followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at 8:35 AM. The course begins and ends on the Sunset Drive side of the school.

Registration is $25 per individual or $75 for a family of up to four if completed before April 22 (prices go up after that). The 1 Mile Fun Run is $15 before April 22 and $20 after. Early registrants receive a race shirt; late or day-of registration is not guaranteed a shirt.

Packet pickup is May 1 from 8:30 AM–2:30 PM at Sutton Elementary’s front office. Race-day registration runs 8:00–8:20 AM behind the school.

The 5K includes $50 cash prizes for overall male and female winners and awards for the top three in multiple age divisions. The 1 Mile Fun Run is participation only. Timing is provided by To The Finish Timing.
