Yellow Banks Shootout Returns to Owensboro for Second Annual Tournament

OWENSBORO, KY — One of the region’s fastest-growing youth basketball events returns this weekend as the 2nd Annual Yellow Banks Shootout tips off April 18–19 at the Owensboro Convention Center.
Hosted by Bracket Sportz, the tournament will feature boys and girls teams from across Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, and Tennessee, bringing together a wide range of talent from 2nd through 11th grade.
The event is structured to accommodate all levels of competition, with divisions for elite, competitive, and developmental teams. Each team is guaranteed at least three games over the two-day event, creating a packed schedule of action across multiple courts.
Beyond the competition, the Yellow Banks Shootout provides a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills in a high-energy environment. Championship teams will be recognized with awards, and standout performers will earn MVP honors in their respective divisions.
With out-of-state programs traveling in, the tournament continues to grow its reputation as a regional destination for youth basketball. The centralized venue at the Owensboro Convention Center allows for a tournament-style atmosphere, giving fans and families the chance to experience multiple matchups throughout the day.
OBKY Sports will be on-site all weekend providing coverage, including game highlights, top performer features, and championship recaps.
Tip-off begins at 8:00 a.m. on Friday.
